Our small choir of 22 joined 7500 other children at the 02 for a once in a lifetime experience. We left Ten Mile Bank at 10.30am to arrive at the 02 for 2pm to start rehearsals, our children have been learning the songs since November and now was the time to put all that hard work to use. The 02 was huge and when we arrived we realised how big this event was, there were children and adults everywhere. After we finally registered we made our way to the fourth floor on very large escalators. When we arrived at our seats it was WOW look how high we are, but what a fantastic view of the stage area and also we could see where the parents that travelled with us would be sitting. We started the rehearsal late and had to go through the first half then after a little break (and a few biscuits) we started the second half. We finally got to have our dinner at 5.30pm and the hour went so quickly and parents, friends etc started to take their seats for the show to start. The atmosphere became electric when the lights were finally dimmed and the glow sticks whirling away was a fantastic sight. The children sang their little hearts out and the 2hours went so quick, but what a fantastic and a Very LONG day it was. We are so proud of our little choir and their swaying movements. The pictures do not do it justice but it will be a memory i don't think the children will ever forget.
