We held a Federation day for Easter.                                                                                         The KS1 children from Ten Mile Bank visited Hilgay for a day of making and doing everything for Easter.  This included a visit from Fen Song who are small group of actors and singers that re-enact the Easter Story.  The children then went on to make Easter hats, baskets and cookies.

The KS2 children from Hilgay went over to Ten Mile Bank for a day spent with the Ely leg of the Pilgrims that were taking the Cross to Walsingham.  The day started with the Fen Song group, and the Pilgrims arrived for lunch.  The children were given the opportunity to chat to the Pilgrims and try lifting the 7ft cross.  It was a wonderful day and one that I know the children will remember.
