On Tuesday 10th May the Mayor of Kings Lynn visited both schools to officially present the children with a souvenir Platinum Jubilee coin.

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk commissioned a unique souvenir Platinum Jubilee coin to be minted and gifted to each primary school aged child in the borough to mark this special year for Her Majesty The Queen.

On Thursday 26th May all the children and staff dressed up as royalty. There were some brilliant costumes, with lots pictured below. The children spent the day taking part in special Jubilee themed activities and enjoyed a picnic lunch.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, all primary school children across the country received a free commemorative book that celebrates the achievements of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth over the last 70 years. These books were presented to the children from the Department of Education today.
