The children all wore their hats which they made at the family cafes. Each hat represented their favourite book. Some of the children came dressed up as their favourite book character including , Horrid Henry, Little Red Hen, Elsa, Goldilocks and Mary Poppins.

Mrs White's daughter Emily, who is an author, came in and read stories with the children at both schools.
