On Wednesday 22nd January, we held our second Federation Day of the school year. The KS2 children spent the day at Ten Mile Bank taking part in a science themed day, focusing on forces. The children were able to build catapults and launch mini marshmallows across the hall, along with learning how a bicycle works. Meanwhile the KS1 and Reception children spent the day at Hilgay learning about the Chinese New Year. They all made Chinese hats, and learned about the different animals that represent the years of the Chinese calendar.
