Sean and Dave, from the folk band Young 'Uns, led several virtual sessions on Thursday with both classes. The children had learnt about workhouses and that Hilgay Village Hall used to be a workhouse. They used this information to write lyrics for their own song all about Horrid Hilgay Workhouse. Below you can hear the song and read the lyrics. The children had a lot of fun and created a brilliant song too!
