Mr Barden came to Visit
Mr Ron Barden was evacuated to Ten Mile Bank in World War 2.
Mr Barden visited our school to see the changes since he was last here. Mr Barden was evacuated with 100's of children to Norfolk to escape the bombs in London when the world was at war. Mr Barden attended this school for a short period. He talked to the children telling them all the stories of how the village and school were all those years ago. The children really enjoyed listening to his stories and their work will appear here soon as Frog's class had some interesting questions for Mr Barden. So please check back here in a couple of weeks. We also took some photos please visit the gallery to view these.
We would like to thank Mr Barden for all his time and fantastic stories the children truly enjoyed your visit.
